ALL Creative have been working with Perrigo, the world's largest manufacturer of OTC pharmaceutical products, since 2017.
We were invited to re-brand their natural allergy product range, Prevalin, and align it to Perrigo’s successful hayfever medicine Beconase.
Working in partnership with the UK brand team, we explored a new packaging design system that would stretch the new ‘BECO’ range of treatments across two benefits - Defence and Relief of symptoms - whilst also retaining the familiar Beconase brand assets that communicate the brand’s positioning as a nasal spray effectively treating hayfever in the nose.
Through intensive shopper research we were able to deliver a packaging solution that was both impactful in store and yet still consistently represented the current brand. The new packaging features impactful hero claims, reflects regulatory mandates for naming across different channels and, clearly differentiates between the Defence and Relief usage occasions.
The new package was launched to pharmacy in March 2019 together with a comprehensive pharmacy training guide with content and design also created by ALL Creative.
This two-brand simplification has allowed the brand team to maximise their marketing investment by spending on the two products under one umbrella brand and is being rolled out across the UK.
